Bill Lowery, Owner/Sound Person/Production Technician

After attending the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio, Bill migrated to Portland, Oregon, where he worked in studios across the city. While playing the guitar in an array of bands on top of studio sessions, he eventually pivoted to a concentration in live sound production, and was the front of house person/production manager for Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul.

Kenny Halbert, Owner/Sound Person/Production Technician

Beginning in the ‘90’s with a Tascam 424, Kenny ran the Rock Action label in Kent, OH (Kill the Hippies, Cheatin’ Hussies), before moving to San Francisco. In California, he co-owned On/OnSwitch (Piranhas, Popular Shapes, Battleship), while studying art at the Academy Of Art, and packing boxes at Subterranean Records/Distribution, and later attended the Galloup School of Lutherie. He’s still known to moonlight in various scuzzy musical groups, when not painting houses, and occasionally releases physical musical artifacts under the Lion’s Care Recordings imprint.
